Will it ever get any easier?

It starts getting a tiny bit easier after about 3-4 days. The worst days of all most report is in the first 2 weeks. After a couple of weeks you can look back and see how much harder it was the first days. The real improvements comes at about 4-6 months when you have finally replaced many smoking related habits with non smoking related ones. Sometime after 1.5 years or so you actually feel normal not smoking and begin to find it difficult to remember what smoking was like. At that point unless you stay around here to help others you almost never ever think of cigarettes at all. You never forget the hard first days no matter how normal non smoking becomes which is good because you have a reason to never start up again.
